Maths

This week I have been practising these 3 basic facts:

8x3=24   6x3=18   5x8=40

         

Here is my Xtramath result:

You can see that I have/have not learnt my facts this week because my three 

facts on my Xtra math chart results are all green.

     

I also wrote a number story for my basic facts.  Here is one

:

here were 3 boys they each had 6 lollies altogether they had

18 lollies.

There were 3 boys they had 8 basketball each they all got their 

basketballs in the hoop altogether they made 24 hoops.

              

     

    there were 5 pizza boxes they each had 8 slices in them altogether there were 40 slices of pizza.

Des Hunt visit

Des Hunt

Des Hunt came to visit us today.He used chemistry and physics to show us how to write a story an easier way.He also showed us some amazing science tricks and talked to us about what he wanted to be when he grows up. 

 

Past Education

I have learnt that if a kid misbehaved they would get the strap for a punishment.

This is my Xtra Math progress, I Didn't improve, I only got three in a row,

But I improved by making it up to time tables.

We watched an advertisement we wanted to learn about a Mcdonalds burgers, why they look so good on tv but when you really get it the burger doesn't really look like the one that was on tv.

We learned about schooling then and now.We started to do similarities and differences.
